Toronto woman unhappy with TTC drivers honking for crowd

A Toronto woman isn't happy with subway drivers honking near her so she is taking her case to the court of public opinion: the Internet.

At an outside stretch of Toronto's subway line where people can watch the trains roll by, many wave at the drivers and they return the favour with a honk. Between Eglinton and Davisville stations at Manor Road West, you can hear children scream with excitement when they hear the noise.

But one woman is one her mission to ensure the TTC hears her complaints.

Shannon McDonough became so irate with the passing trains making noise and disturbing her peace, she decided to record them on video and post it on YouTube.

The video has received more than 3,700 views and far more dislikes than likes.

"This happens all day, every day and it still continues," McDnough wrote on YouTube.

"In 45 minutes I filmed 16 subways honking for the crowd," she added. "I am hoping to put pressure on the TTC to do something about this constant nuisance."
