Japanese Zoo Builds A Massive Elephant Swimming Pool

Ever wondered what a swimming pool made for elephants looks like? Well, wonder no more.

In the video above by the Associated Press, we get to watch as an elephant plunges into Japan's Fuji Safari Park. The zoo, which is located in the city of Susono, at the foot of Mount Fuji, debuted a massive 65-metre long swimming pool especially for their elephants on July 13th.

Zookeeper Daiki Takeuchi explains that the large glass window panes were built to offer visitors a surprising glimpse at the way the giant animals us their legs and trunks in the water.
