Toronto police launch investigation in Wainfleet, Ont.

A Toronto police forensics team is investigating a house nearly 200 kilometres outside of the city on Thursday.

Police have revealed little about the ongoing investigation, other than it's linked to Toronto in some manner, but said forensics units have been at a house in Wainfleet, Ont., for more than 24 hours.

Toronto police is leading the investigation, with assistance from Niagara Regional Police.

Wainfleet, a township south of St. Catharines and Niagara Falls, is about a two-hour drive from Toronto.
