Two new luxury homes in Priddis, Alta. will hit the auction block in a few days — a method of selling that has grown in popularity in Alberta recently.

Paul Bellisimo, of Homes by Bellia, told The Calgary Sun the future of home selling is by auction, which is attracting more international bidders than ever to Alberta.

“It’s world-wide, they have money and they buy more now than ever before,” he said.

The bigger of the two homes is a 9,200 sq.-ft. home that includes Swarovski crystal chandeliers, iron work from Home, and a massive wine cellar.

The five bedroom, six bathroom home is on the market for $3,988,000. The auction reserve prices is $1.995 million.

The smaller of the two homes is 5,500 sq.-ft. with four bedrooms and five bathroooms. It has been offered on the marked for $2,898,000, and will have a auction reserve price of $1.488 million.
