Rumors of a secret menu at McDonald’s have swirled around for quite some time, but a recent Reddit post from a user identifying as a McDonald’s manager might have let the cat out of the bag.
The user from Scotland claims you can order from a secret menu. That it actually exists. It’s similar to "grill orders." If you explain what you want and are willing to pay for the extra ingredients, McDonald’s will create it.
So does that mean, one can order a Chicken of the Sea burger? That’s a Big Mac with chicken on top, and fish on the bottom instead of patties. How about an Air, Land, and Sea Burger? That consists of a Big Mac, McChicken, Filet-O-Fish all in one.
But according to McDonald’s, that’s not entirely true.
A company spokesperson told HuffPost Canada there isn’t a secret menu, but they understand customers like to get creative and customize their order.
So while you may get some odd looks if you order a “McGangbang” at the counter, that doesn’t mean some of the fast-food chain’s more outrageous concoctions are completely off the table.
