Motorcycle collision sends 1 to hospital

One person has been rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle in downtown Toronto on Wednesday night.

Police said they were called to the scene of the collision on Richmond Street, just east of Yonge Street, around 9:42 p.m.

Paramedics said a male patient was rushed to a nearby trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. Officials couldn't confirm if it was the motorcyclist.

Officers have cordoned off Richmond from Yonge east to Victoria Street to investigate.
