Prince George is growing up fast! On Wednesday, July 22, the toddler turns two. On Tuesday, Kensington Palace tweeted a never-before-seen photo of the toddler from Charlotte’s christening. In the cute snap, George is seen smiling as he sits in his father’s arms.

Princess Diana's favourite photographer Mario Testino took the photo, as well as all others taken at the christening.

Ahead of celebrations, a palace source spoke to People about how the tiny tot will mark his birthday.

According to the source, George, his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and his 11-week-old sister Princess Charlotte will “spend the day privately in Norfolk.” The festivities will take place at the royals’ home in Anmer Hall, which is located on Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham estate.

This is a change from the boy’s first birthday, which was celebrated at Kensington Palace.

Prince George’s birthday comes just weeks after his entire family made their first public appearance together at Charlotte’s royal christening. During the event, the tiny tyke stole the show with his cute style and all his adorable toddler moments.

We're hoping to see official photos from George’s second birthday. Last year, two new pictures of the Prince and his parents were released when the tot turned one.
