Shots fired in Surrey, man left with significant injuries

A man has sustained significant injuries after shots were fired in Surrey, B.C. on Sunday night.

Surrey RCMP officers responded to calls about shots were heard fired in the Port Kells neighbourhood around 184 Street and 92 Avenue shortly after midnight.

When they arrived, they found a man with serious injuries. He was transported to hospital, where he's currently being treated for multiple gunshot wounds. 

Investigators believe the attack was targeted, but they haven't named the victim or said if any suspects have been identified.

Streets in the area will be closed while investigators gather evidence.
