Sidney Crosby Worked The Tim Hortons Drive-Thru. This Is Peak Canada.

The only thing that could have made this more Canadian would have been a moose stepping up to the drive-thru and munching on a cruller.

Few things are more Canadian than seeing hockey stars serve up double-doubles at Tim Hortons.

But that's precisely what people in Dartmouth, N.S. saw Monday, as Pittsburgh Penguins player Sidney Crosby and Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon filmed a commercial for the franchise, The Chronicle Herald reported.

The hockey players, who both hail from Cole Harbour, N.S., served some coffee and took photos with people who came by, TSN's Bardown noted.

And their presence caused plenty of excitement on social media.

It's not the first time that Crosby has starred in a commercial for the iconic Canadian chain.

He also appeared in a Tim Hortons ad last year that showed a massive group of people jumping onto the ice alongside him during a game.

The only thing that could have made this more Canadian would have been a moose pulling up to the drive-thru and munching on a cruller.

Now THAT we'd like to see!
