OKOTOKS, Alta. - RCMP say they're looking for a man who has been playing at being a police officer.

They say a woman pulled over on a road west of Okotoks, Alta., recently when she saw flashing red and blue lights in her rear-view mirror.

A man with a badge came out of the car, asked for her licence and registration, then walked back to his vehicle.

When he returned, he handed her a $200 ticket and told her she should slow down.

It wouldn't seem like a big deal, except that RCMP say he's not an officer of the law.

The man is described as being in his 20s or 30s with short dark hair, a slim build and short, dark facial hair. He was wearing a tan uniform with a badge pinned to it.

Anyone with information is asked to call police — the real ones, that is.
