Bobcat caught snoozing in Calgary backyard

It was a beautiful day again in Calgary, and it seems it's not just residents who were taking a moment to relax in the great outdoors.

A Calgary couple was lucky enough to snap some pictures of a bobcat that decided to take a snooze in their shady backyard near Fish Creek Provincial Park on Sunday.

Officials at Alberta Fish and Wildlife were alerted, but did not immediately interfere with the animal's beauty sleep.

Bobcats are known to wander through Calgary neighbourhoods from time to time. Fish and Wildlife says the animals are not dangerous, but will be removed if the situation warrants.
