The Duchess of Cambridge has played volleyball and cricket (in heels), is an honourary member of the All England Tennis Club and she's beaten Prince William at sailing. And now Kate Middleton can add advanced diver to her long list of sports hobbies.

Over the weekend, the Duchess successfully completed an advanced open water diver qualification course, the Telegraph reports. She can now dive up to 98 feet (30 metres), allowing her to join Prince William on his underwater excursions.

The British Royals have a passion for diving, with Prince William taking the title of President of the British Sub-Aqua Club in May 2014. The title was previously held by William's father, Prince Charles and his grandfather, Prince Philip.

And while the Duke and Duchess are sure to enjoy solo diving dates for the next little while, it might not take too long before we spot Prince George swimming alongside them.

Shortly after taking on his role as president at BSAC, the Duke of Cambridge confessed he hopes his son will be able to "experience the wonders that snorkeling and scuba diving have to offer," People reported.

William and Kate have also expressed a desire to introduce George to the world of sailing by as young as the age of eight (and we're sure the same goes for Charlotte as well).
