Your favourite comfort foods aren't just causing you to gain weight, they might be aging you too.
In the video above by WTVR news, we discover the five foods and drinks that can cause your body to age faster. From fatty, fried foods to pre-mixed chia lattes and even fruit juice, some of these items might actually surprise you.
The list comes from Australian dietitian Susie Burell, who explained to the Daily Mail that foods with a high glycemic load can increase inflammation in the body, while foods that are high in sodium can put pressure on the body while increasing fluid retention and swelling.
But it's not all bad news. Burell also shares five foods that can fight aging and that list includes goodies like red wine, whole grains and nuts.
