Zane Curtis Bronson, Andy William Rogers Charged Alberta Crime Spree

BRETON, Alta. — Two men are facing more than 40 charges in a string of violent crimes in three Alberta communities.

RCMP say the charges involve theft of vehicles, possession of dangerous weapons, dangerous driving, hit and run, flight from police, and assault of police officer.

The alleged crimes happened on Aug. 6 in Rimbey and Rocky Mountain House and April 5 in Hinton.

Zane Curtis Bronson, who is 28 and of no fixed address, faces 35 charges.

He is to appear in court in Breton on Wednesday, in Rimbey on Sept. 4 and in Hinton on Aug. 19.

Andy William Rogers, who is 34, of Penhold, is facing eight charges and is to appear in court in Breton on Wednesday.

Bronson also has charges on outstanding warrants and is to appear in court in Mayerthorpe on Thursday and on Aug. 17 in Edmonton.
