#ManiMonday: Quick And Easy Dry Brush Nail Art

Lazy day nail art that still makes a statement.
Kaitlyn Delano

There are days when you want to have a great mani, but have little time or energy to execute an intricate design. That's why knowing techniques that are quick and easy to use is key for lazy day nail art that still makes a statement.

Dry brushing is one of these techniques. It is very customizable and simple, and creates an abstract nail art design. You can choose any colour combination you wish, whether it be neons on a white polish, your favourite sports team's colours, or metallics over a darker polish.

Once you've painted your nails with your desired base colour, take your first accent colour and remove as much polish from the brush as possible. You can do this by scraping the brush on the opening of the polish bottle. The less polish on the brush the better, as you will be able to see more of the small brushstrokes. Randomly create brushstrokes on your nails with all of your accent colours. You can even go back to the first colour at the end to make the design more layered.

Once everything has dried after about 10 minutes, apply your favourite top coat to seal in the design (this design would look great with a matte top coat).

See? Easy as that!

Polishes Used: Chanel Vibrato, China Glaze Mingle with Kringle, Deborah Lippmann Swagga Like Us and Revlon Silver Screen.
