Jeff Goldblum Explains His Son's Unique Name And Shares Adorable Video

"But is it too out there?"

Jeff Goldblum became a first-time father last month and couldn’t help but gush about his son during an appearance on “Conan.”

While on the show, the 62-year-old admitted that he’s a “very good” diaper changer. Speaking about his newborn, he said: “He’s so good and sweet. I enjoy him. I love him to bits. I nuzzle him, I smell him, I kiss him, I talk to him, I make jokes with him, I sing to him.”

The “Portlandia” star then shared an adorable video of him singing and nuzzling his baby boy. Watch the cute clip below!

The actor and his wife Emilie Livingston named their son Charlie Ocean Goldblum. After the name received a few “audible gasps” from the "Conan" audience, host Conan O’Brien said, “Ocean, that's a little out there.”

Goldblum then responded saying, “It is. But is it too out there? I love the ocean.”

The “Independence Day” star is not the only celebrity to give his child a nature-inspired name. In 2014, this trend was hugely popular in Hollywood. Kelly Clarkson, for instance, named her daughter River Rose, and Christina Aguilera named her daughter Summer Rain.
