Gas Prices In Canada Nosedive, But That Won't Last

Tomorrowsgaspricetoday is 100 per cent certain of a price increase this weekend.

In spite of oil's gain yesterday, gas prices dropped -- in some places steeply -- over the past few days. But don't expect that to last. In fact, tank up before the weekend.

Tomorrowsgaspricetoday.com, which brands itself as "your first and only credible source for gas price predictions in Canada," is predicting gas prices will rise "dramatically" on the weekend.

Dan McTeague, a gas price analyst and former Liberal MP, told CTV News the recent dip in oil prices will be "short-lived" because global stock markets are rallying at the end of this week, following large dives earlier this week, and those higher prices will have an effect on the gas market.

Western Canada should be spared gas price hikes this weekend for the most part, TGPT forecast.
