70-Year-Old Man Arrested, Charged With Selling Crack Cocaine

Barrie police say a 55-year-old woman was also arrested and charged, too.

A 70-year-old man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of selling crack cocaine to Barrie, Ont. buyers.

Police say the unnamed man was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and for the possession of both cocaine and marijuana.

According to a news release, a warrant was executed at the man’s house where police found and seized “a quantity” of Canadian cash.

A 55-year-old woman was also arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine.

The man appeared in court for a bail hearing Monday. The unidentified woman is scheduled to make a local court appearance in September.
