Clean And Clear's #SelfAcceptanceSpeech Won The MTV VMAs

"The best acceptance speeches are the ones we give ourselves."

The 2015 MTV VMAs were certainly full of drama, controversy and outrageous outfits. But there is one moment that's having a lasting impact on viewers, and for all the right reasons.

Skincare company Clean & Clear debuted its #SelfAcceptanceSpeech commercial during the award show, and it definitely had us reaching for the tissues. The ad featured seven young women talking about their unique features that they were once bullied for, but that they've grown to accept and love nonetheless.

"I accept that my forehead is big," said one of the young women. "I love my glasses," said another.

"To become accepted by others, that's really not important," one of the young women wisely concluded. "It's what you think about yourself."

The commercial struck a chord with men and women across the Twitterverse, some admitting that it brought them to tears:

Some were even inspired to take to Instagram and Twitter to share their own self acceptance speeches, proving, as the commercial stated, that "the best acceptance speeches are the ones we give ourselves."

Watch the full commercial above (with tissues on hand), and share what you've grown to accept and love about yourself in the comment section below.
