Skipping Benefits: Why Jumping Rope Is The Best Full Body Workout

Jump around, jump around ...

For anyone who's is looking for an easy and full body workout with minimal equipment and space, it's time to pick up a jump rope again.

But we're not talking about Double Dutch or playing helicopter. According to the video above from Vogue, hosted by actress Patina Miller, skipping can actually be one of the best forms of cardio. Miller tells us how she used something simple like jumping rope to get in shape for her role in the "Hunger Games."

Skipping in general not only works out most of your body from head to toe, but you can also do it just about anywhere. If you want to make things even more intense, a skipping/jumping circuit can help you target everything from your legs to arms to knees to core.
