When it comes to shopping for bed sheets, you might feel a little like Goldilocks. Sometimes sheets are too scratchy, other times, a little too slick and all you want to do is find one that is 'just right'.
So what should you look for while shopping for sheets? According to Canadian Living, you only need to keep two things in mind — thread count and material.
And the two are closely related. Thread count refers to the amount of threads woven into a square inch of fabric. The higher the thread, the smoother and more durable the sheet tends to be. But if the fabric isn't soft, the number of threads won't matter anyway, Real Simple magazine notes.
