NEW YORK — Canadian Eugenie Bouchard has withdrawn from women's doubles and mixed doubles competition at the U.S. Open on Saturday.

The Westmount, Que. native suffered a head injury after falling in the locker room following a mixed doubles match on Friday night with partner Nick Kyrgios.

A statement from U.S. Open officials says the extent of the injury is being assessed by medical staff.

Medical staff recommended that Bouchard withdraw from Saturday's matches and there's no determination whether she will continue in singles action.
