Jon Wakefield needed a new phone case, so he got one with Norm Kelly on it.
The Michigan teen spent $40 on a customized case featuring the Toronto city councillor, because he "seems super chill," reported CBC News.
“I just think he’s really funny and everything,” Wakefield told Metro. “I just kind of, as a joke, wanted to get the phone case with him in on it.”
Kelly has become a strange "Twitter dad" to some of his 149,000 Twitter followers.
Wakefield said he first heard of Kelly when he supported Drake in his beef with Meek Mill.
“After that, I was hooked onto him,” Wakefield told the Toronto Sun.
He told BuzzFeed Canada that he likes how the 74-year-old councillor has input into "younger topics."
“Like I’ve never met someone over 50 who even knows [who] Drake is.”
