WATCH: Man Sings To 93-Year-Old Dying Wife

We should all be so blessed.

Every now and then, you hear about a loving couple that restores your faith in true love. Howard, 92, and Laura, 93, are one of those couples.

The pair, who have been married for 73 years, captured the hearts of Internet users in a heart-breaking video originally posted to Facebook by the couple's granddaughter, Erin Solari.

In the 3:30 video, Laura says a line from the couple's favourite song — "You'll Never Know" by Rosemary Clooney and Harry James — to her husband. It's apparently the same song Laura used to sing to him during World War II.

Caressing his wife's face, Howard serenades her. Laura manages to gaze lovingly into her husband's eyes as he sings, despite suffering from a condition that prevents her from seeing anything but shadows and light.

"Moments before this video began, when Grandma heard that Grandpa was in the room, she asked if she could hold him. Grandpa cannot stand on his own, but he immediately pulled his wheelchair close to her bed ready to make it happen," Solari wrote in the video description.

Just 10 days after posting the video, it had received 4,269,415 views on Facebook and an additional 1,063,232 times on YouTube. Solari believes that's one of the factors that continues to keep her grandmother alive.

"After posting this video to Facebook, it began to go viral and all the outpouring of love lifted everyone's spirits... including Grandma's! They originally gave her just a week to live, but hospice eventually deemed her well enough to go back home to live out her remaining few days. As of this posting my beautiful Grandma Laura Virginia is still with us resting peacefully at home," Solari wrote on September 20.
