Elle Fanning Stars On The Cover Of i-D's LGBTQ Issue

Such a badass.

Drenched in Dior, Jil Sander and Saint Laurent, Elle Fanning is a total badass in her cover shoot for i-D magazine's LGBTQ issue.

Choosing the 17-year-old for the special edition issue was fitting as Elle stars in the new flick, "About Ray," in which she plays a New York teenager beginning the process of transitioning from female to male.

The spread features a bare-faced Elle giving off gorgeous androgynous vibes with slicked back hair and bold brows. Her wardrobe is kept minimalistic, with various black and white pieces from some of fashion's greatest designers.

In the cover story, i-D dubbed the high school senior a "New Youth" explaining her as "well-informed, educated in freedom and equality, aware of the draining effect of social media, and enthusiastic about passing on her knowledge."

An according to the young star, this grown-up shoot is her favourite to date.

"I think it's my favourite shoot," she tells the magazine. "It was really, really cool. It was exciting to do something grittier and just go for it."

Head to i-D's website to check out the full interview and spread.
