Psst, Blair Waldorf is now a mom! “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester and her husband, Adam Brody, welcomed their first child last week, "Us Weekly" reports.
The new parents, who secretly tied the knot last year, have always kept their home life private. That’s why the two have chosen not to reveal their baby’s gender or name.
Back in May, Meester, 29, and Brody, 35, caused quite a stir when it was first reported that they were expecting. The couple previously played iconic characters on two popular teen drama series – Blair Waldorf from “Gossip Girl” and Seth Cohen from “The O.C.” – causing huge excitement for fans on Twitter.
One ecstatic fan even wrote: “Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf are having a child. As far as I'm concerned *this* is the real royal baby.”
While it’s unlikely we’ll see photos of the couple’s little bundle of joy, we’re hoping a playdate with Blake Lively’s daughter James is in the works! Lively played Meester’s BFF Serena van der Woodsen on “Gossip Girl” and welcomed her daughter with Ryan Reynold’s last year.
