Kris Jenner had a hard time seeing some of Caitlyn’s pre-transition clothing.
On Sunday’s “Keeping up With the Kardashians”, the reality star teared up at the sight of some of her ex’s old items, which Caitlyn gave to daughter Kim as family keepsakes.
“Seeing these clothes and realizing that Bruce has thrown them out makes it real,” Kris said.
She sobbed as she hugged Kim, saying “it’s just crazy that he’s gone.”
Kim tried to reassure her mom.
“But he’s not,” she said.
“Yeah,” Kris said. “He’s gone.”
Newsy points out the episode was filmed around the time of Caitlyn Jenner's interview with Diane Sawyer in April, the final interview she gave before she transitioned. The exes are in a slightly better place now: They met for the first time during an August episode of Caitlyn's "I Am Cait" series and both got very emotional as they addressed their feelings towards one another.
Caitlyn Jenner became officially recognized as a woman in the state of California on Friday, according to Reuters. The 65-year-old former Olympian was known as Bruce before her transition from male to female earlier this year.
