Thank you, Based God.

Thank you, Based God.

On Saturday, before the Toronto Blue Jays' American League Division Series game against the Texas Rangers, Norm Kelly sent a Twitter plea to rapper Lil B, and the Based God responded.

The Jays won 5-1, saving themselves from first-round playoff elimination. The team went on to defeat the Rangers 8-4 in game four Sunday and will play game five of the series in Toronto, possibly advancing to the next playoff round.

Now everybody is asking for blessings. Here are a few requests Lil B has retweeted in the last 24 hours:

The internet-famous rapper drew attention during the 2014-15 NBA playoffs after "cursing" Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden for stealing his famous "cooking dance."

At the time, the Rockets were leading the Western Conference finals against the Golden State Warriors-- Lil B's team.

We're hoping this is enough to counteract the Taylor Swift curse for good.

UPDATE - Oct. 12, 2015: This post has been updated to reflect the Jays' Game 4 win over the Rangers Monday evening.
