Jessica Chastain Goes Punk For W Magazine

Brow game so very strong.

Jessica Chastain, is that you?!

The 38-year-old Oscar nominee looks completely unrecognizable on the latest cover of W's November issue. Yes, we've seen Chastain transform many times on the big screen, but we've never seen her like this. And we're so into it.

Leaving behind her signature bright, red hair for her third W cover, "The Martian" star rocks hot-pink locks, thanks to hairstylist Shay Ashual, and the strongest drawn-on eyebrow we've ever seen for the glossy's front cover. Unlike her usual red carpet looks, as you can see below, Chastain opted here for an intense blood hued lip and dark blush to amplify her facial structure, as crafted by makeup artist Sammy Mourabit.

The spread, shot by Steven Klein and styled by Edward Enninful, also sees Chastain flaunting a bleach blond pixie cut as she sports her Saint Laurent leather and Givenchy lace. Talk about a punk vixen! She pairs the look with studded platforms, ripped stockings and draped rosaries, à la 1980s Madonna.

In the cover story, written by Lynn Hirschberg, Jessica admits she doesn't want a role as a Bond girl, but rather, she's waiting for the call to play the villain. The California native, who it seems has played every character on the silver screen spectrum, is set to star in the spooky thriller "Crimson Peak" right in time for Halloween.

Jessica Chastain, you are on complete badass.
