REGINA — The federal Conservative candidate in Regina-Lewvan has asked for a judicial recount.

Trent Fraser was beaten on election night by the NDP's Erin Weir by 143 votes, but the vote difference is now just 132.

In a release, Theo Bryson, the president of the Conservative Party of Canada Electoral District Association, says all voters in Regina-Lewvan need to know the counting process was done correctly.

It is believed the recount will happen Thursday morning.
