A California judge has ruled that sex offenders will not have to put up a sign on Halloween that reads: “We do not participate in trick or treating."
Since March, U.S. attorney Janice Bellucci and registered sex offender Frank Lindsay have been in a legal battle with a number of California cities. They have been trying to get cities to reverse restricting bans and regulations, such as the sign, that they believe infringe upon a sex offender’s constitutional rights.
