Breaking celebrity hair news, everyone: Lorde has tamed the mane.
On Monday evening, the 18-year-old pop star arrived at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards debuting a whole new hairstyle that made us do a double take.
Replacing the New Zealand teen's signature curls were straight, slicked back locks in a short, blunt cut that hit just below her collarbones. The "Magnets" songstress also left behind her usual dark eyeliner and opted for a more natural eye this time around.
After the awards, which saw Brother Vellies, Gypsy Sport and Jonathan Simkhai, take home the top prize as America's emerging new fashion talent, Lorde took to Instagram with a cheeky elevator selfie. She wrote, "And as soon as the party finished I combed my fingers through my hair, threw on my boiler suit and yeezys." YAS, LORDE!
