Neelam Gill Is Abercrombie & Fitch's First Indian Face, And She's Stunning

The brand seems to have done something right this time.

Neelam Gill, the new face of Abercrombie & Fitch, is more than just a model.

She's also a trailblazer, and an anti-bullying activist who has taken a firm stand against online harassment.

Gill is the brand's first Indian model. And it's especially exciting for her, because she once spent two years working as a sales clerk for Hollister while she was in school.

"I'd go into work and I never imagined the models displayed on the wall could be me one day," she wrote. "Dreams do come true."

Gill, who is signed to Wilhelmina Models, broke into the fashion industry two years ago. She has since featured in campaigns for brands such as Burberry, Mashable reported.

(She was a first for that company, too.)

But her work goes beyond posing for photographs and walking runways. She has also partnered with activist Harnaam Kaur to raise awareness of bullying.

The pair produced a video last month, in which they discussed body acceptance, among other topics.

We know that Abercrombie & Fitch has been in plenty of trouble before.

But it certainly did something right this time.
