After pumpkin spice and tie-dye hair, we thought we had seen it all when it came to the latest and greatest (and truly outrageous) hair colour trends of 2015. But then, this past weekend, One Direction's Louis Tomlinson's beauty-wiz sister took to Instagram and blew our minds.
Introducing rainbow roots.
Lottie Tomlinson just made it clear roots aren't only for trees with this tecnhicolour trend that aims to give the top of your head a dash of colour. The beauty guru, with her white-blond locks, took to Instagram to document the process that is perfect for all those girls who want a drastic hair transformation without going all the way (the rest of your locks are left completely untouched in the process).
The multicoloured dye job, consisting of pinks, blues, yellows and purples, is basically the opposite of ombre (which spruces up the hair's tips). Tomlinson added chunks of colour to her roots, sharing photos along the way with her 2.1 million followers, who were all impressed. Once complete, the celebrity makeup artist's proved that pastel hair dreams do come true.
