If you thought Winnie The Pooh was a boy, then you'd be wrong.
Turns out Pooh was actually a girl in real life, according to the new book, "Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World’s Most Famous Bear."
The author Lindsay Mattick, who is the great grand-daughter of Harry Colebourn, the original owner of Pooh, told the Toronto Star that people "don't even realize that there was a real bear."

“I want people who love Winnie-the-Pooh to understand that the real story behind her is just as beautiful and just as amazing,” Mattick said.
