Kim Kardashian's Push Present Costs The Same As A Toronto Home

Go big or go home.

Kim Kardashian previously called pregnancy the “worst experience” of her life, so it’s no surprise that the reality star is expecting a push present once she gives birth.

On Friday, the 35-year-old star wrote on her blog, “I like the idea of a push present—after nine months of pregnancy it's a sweet and well-deserved thank you. We women go through an entire pregnancy carrying a baby... of course it only makes sense that we get something amazing to show how amazing we are!”

Kardashian then went on to reveal that she would like a million dollar diamond necklace as a push present. “This pregnancy, I would love a Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker, like the ones I've worn before to the Art + Film Gala. Too much? LOL!” she joked.

The retail value of the extravagant diamond necklace is the same cost of an average Toronto home. According to the Toronto Star, the average sale price of a detached house in the City of Toronto is $1.017 million.

Push presents have become a growing trend in recent years. Etiquette expert Jacqueline Whitmore told Today.com that while a push present is a “nice gesture,” it is not an “obligation, and “can be given before the baby is born, or even right in the delivery room.”

According to Kardashian’s blog, she never used to believe in push presents. “Do you guys believe in a push present? I never did, but all of my friends do!!!” she wrote. “We have the funniest e-mail chains discussing it. One friend got a special diamond ring she always wanted, and another friend got a new car!”

Kardashian and husband Kanye West are currently expecting their second child, who is due in December. Despite hating pregnancy and wanting a push present, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star recently told E! News that she is looking forward to the arrival of her little bundle of joy.

“I just don't think pregnancy and me really agree with each other,” she explained. “You know, it was really hard for me to get pregnant so I do feel really blessed that I am pregnant and, at the end of the day, it is a million times worth it.”
