Ahmed Mohamed Wants $15 Million Compensation For Clock Incident

Ahmed Mohamed is now seeking $15 million from the city of Irving and the Irving Independent School District.

In September, Texas student Ahmed Mohamed was arrested after his teacher mistook his homemade clock for a bomb. While the 14 year old received tons of support from the internet, got invites from famous figures such as Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, and received a number of offers from prestigious schools following the incident, he also received threatening emails which left him traumatized.

As a result, the teen is now seeking $15 million in compensation from the City of Irving and the Irving Independent School District. He is also demanding apologies due to the β€œsevere psychological trauma” the incident has caused him.
