Susan Cain Shares Her Story With MAKERS

"What I want to see introverts feeling less ashamed about who they are."

The book, published in 2012, struck a chord with introverts everywhere, and sparked a "Quiet Revolution." However, there was a time when Cain had abandoned her dream of becoming a writer, believing writing was the "dream of youth."

So, she chose to pursue a career in law instead. In the video above, she tells MAKERS about the journey of self-discovery that rekindled her passion for writing, leading her to write "Quiet" and become an advocate for introverts.
