Salted Coffee Gets Put To The Test

The tried-and-true method to combat a bitter cup of coffee is to pile in sugar and cream by the spoonful. But every so often, the idea of adding salt has been popping up, and some say it's the secret to reducing the bitterness of coffee. The trick is to just use a pinch — otherwise you'll taste the salt.
