From outspoken big-city mayor to captivating Christmas storyteller, Naheed Nenshi can do it all.

Calgary's mayor sat down with school kids this week for his rendition of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas, as the latest installment of "Mayor Nenshi Reads."

We don't know what's more adorable — the kids or Nenshi's reindeer sweater.

It's getting to be that time of year! Cuddle up with the kids and enjoy our version of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole...

The video was filmed by Shaw in front of their "fireplace" and posted on Nenshi's Facebook page Friday.

The mayor, who is Muslim, has been reading Christmas books to students in schools across Calgary this week.

And still making time to be sassy on Twitter.

His response:

The best mayor in the world (for 2014) regularly reads to kids, including at children's festivals and at bookstores.

Watch Nenshi's video above to get in the festive mood. Christmas is less than two weeks away!
