Holiday Portion Control: What You Should Be Eating Over The Holidays

It's the holidays and we're all for indulging, but that doesn't mean healthy eating needs to go out the window for the whole month of December.

In the video above, we take a closer look at the nutrition labels on some of our favourite holiday treats. From cookies to hot chocolate, panettone to candy canes, there is a limit to how many of these tempting treats you should really be eating.

Of course, watching portion sizes isn't only limited to the dessert table. Here, BBC Good Food shares a simple chart that lists how much food you should have on hand for each guest. Now you won't need to worry about having an abundance of leftovers taking over your fridge until 2016.
