It's the most magical time of the year... FOR STRESS. For some families, the days leading up to Christmas are the perfect storm of braving hordes of people at the malls, stringing along a 25-day (or longer) lie about a mythical man who delivers toys around the world and finding a sitter while the kids are off school.

It's enough to make anyone wonder: why do parents put up with the Christmas craziness?
