Dwayne Johnson’s newborn daughter is already daddy’s little girl. On Sunday, the 43-year-old actor shared the first photo of his daughter and revealed that he and his girlfriend Lauren Hashian named her Jasmine.
“Christmas came early,” The Rock captioned the sweet Instagram snap. “Within minutes of being born she was laying on daddy’s chest. And being a grateful man takes on a whole new meaning … Thank you guys so much for the awesome congratulatory wishes and love you’ve been sending @laurenhashianofficial and myself.”
“We’re extremely grateful,” he continued. “Kinda crazy but in this cool and powerful skin to skin bonding moment with my newborn baby Jasmine, I had just one wish I asked the universe… Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday. If I can accomplish that, then I’d have a good shot at being a great father.”
The Rock and Hashian welcomed Jasmine on Dec. 16. This is the first child for the couple, but the second for Johnson. The proud dad also has a 14-year-old daughter named Simone with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
The Rock has already proven time and again that he is a doting father. He has been known to share sweet snaps of his family on social media and just last month, Johnson teared up on a teaser of Oprah’s “Master Class” while talking about his close-knit relationship with daughter Simone.
Clearly, the actor is a softie when it comes to his daughters. We can’t wait to see more photos of him and his girls in the future!
