Remember the days of making New Year's Eve plans? Deciding which party to go to and what to wear. Such festivities, of course, likely happened before your sweet offspring arrived and now NYE looks so much different.
Someone always gets sick.
It's been a rough few days around here. This little one has been sick and it breaks me down to see my happy baby so mellow. That tiny cough that rocks his body to the core, and those little sniffles from his bunny nose. Oh, they make my heart ache. He can barely sleep or get comfortable. Sigh. I can finally attest to the fact that while this season is full of holidays, it also brings lots of colds and sickness, which I'm not a fan of. Raise your hand mamas if you know what I'm talking about...So good riddance December. Im ready for you to be gone, for us to skip over the rest of winter, and for spring to arrive ASAP. #byefelicia

Fireworks are watched from the couch... in pjs.
Dressing up for NYE involves a mask and cape.
Bowling alleys are the new clubs.
Swimming pools, too.
Twister is the closest we get to dancing the night away.
This is your best bubbly.
Passing out takes on a whole new meaning.
This is your four star hotel.
This is five star.
But we wouldn't want to ring in the New Year any other way.
