Vancouver Shrouded In Fog Is Mesmerizing

Metro Vancouver really knows how to work a foggy hangover.

Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for the area on Saturday, warning people to be careful on the roads as temperatures and visibility dropped.

But that didn't stop photographers from whipping out their cameras to capture the eerie cloud cover. Many shared their snaps with The Huffington Post B.C. on Instagram, and they're gorgeous.

Midnight Inversion ☁️ Last night's inversion shrouds Vancouver in a dark blanket of fog. The visibility on the Lions Gate Bridge is still good but Burrard Inlet, Stanley Park, Vancouver Harbour, Port of Metro Vancouver, Canada Place, Downtown Vancouver... have all disappeared. Peeking out above the dark fogline, you can see Metrotown and Central Park in Burnaby and the tips of the Alex Fraser Bridge. At the bottom of this image, the Christmas tree is visible at Park Royal Shopping Centre.
