Celine Dion Covers Adele's 'Hello' At New Year's Eve Show

We've seen some great covers of Adele's "Hello" — this one done 25 different ways and Jimmy Fallon's version are highlights — but Celine Dion may have trumped them all.

The Canadian singer performed a surprise version for her fans during a New Year's Eve show in Las Vegas.

After seemingly hinting that Adele might join her on stage, Celine thrilled the crowd at Caesars Palace with a cover instead.

"Tonight, if I may, I would like Adele to be part of our New Year's Eve," she said. "So don't panic, she's not in the building."

While this rendition was stellar (obviously), Vulture pointed out how incredible it would have been if Adele actually showed up.

Some sort of collaboration between the two singers may happen in the future. Celine is a big fan of Adele's — the 47 year old performed "Rolling In The Deep" at her Vegas shows in 2013 and told Larry King that same year that she'd love to work with her.

We're as excited about this possibility as you are.
