It's January, and that means the gym is packed and at least one person you know is considering a seven day "cleanse."
While the benefits of cleansing are up for debate, one thing we know for sure is that drinking three bottles of juice a day is never satisfying.
Enter The Taco Cleanse. No, we're not suggesting you survive off of Taco Bell for seven days, The Taco Cleanse is an actual book developed by self-proclaimed "taco scientists" Wes Allison, Stephanie Bogdanich, Molly R. Frisinger, and Jessica Morris. The new book is filled with 75 vegan taco recipes which can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
And unlike juice cleanses, The Taco Cleanse doesn't claim to help you drop X number of pounds in X number of days. Instead, the book jokes about benefits like helping you grow a beard or conceive a child. Oh, and for those not trying to have a baby, The Taco Cleanse also claims to enhance your existing birth control measures as well.
Finally, we've found a cleanse we feel we can really stick with.
