A suspect has been arrested after one person was stabbed at an Air Canada building in Brampton, Ont. Wednesday night.

Peel Regional Police said earlier in the night that a dispatch centre for the airline was under a "hold and secure" while officers searched for a suspect. The unidentified suspect was found "off site" and the building is now safe, police tweeted.

The victim was taken to hospital and is in critical condition. One other man suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, according to Global News.

“There was no public safety concern – at this point it’s an isolated incident – it’s amongst the people that were involved in this altercation," police officer George Tudos said.
