DIY Beauty: How To Make All-Natural Makeup Remover Pads

Main ingredient? Coconut oil.

Yes, beauty lovers, we get it. After too many sangrias downed at girls' night or after a long day at the office, the last thing you want to do is conduct your skincare ritual before your head hits that pillow. That easy-access makeup wipe is just too irresistible in those situations, so you just take your full face of foundation, eyeliner and mascara off with that.

But here's the issue — often, makeup wipes don't even get all the makeup off your skin (#fail).

Often, many of these makeup removers leave skin feeling dry, dehydrated and cause major redness.

So when we heard about a very simple, do-it-yourself recipe that featured coconut oil (a.k.a. the miracle worker) as its main ingredient, we were sold. We grabbed our mason jar, cotton pads, castile soap and coconut oil and got to work in the kitchen.

Check out the video above for a simple step-by-step guide on how to create your very own all-natural makeup remover pads with just five ingredients!
