Talk about a sister act.
Gigi and Bella Hadid made their respective Chanel Haute Couture debuts on Tuesday morning in Paris at the Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées during the legendary fashion house's Norwegian-inspired ecology-themed show.
Eldest sister, Gigi, 20, took to the zen garden runway (which featured lily ponds and fir trees) first, donning an ivory, tea-length, strapless tweed gown with rhinestone detailing, cork-sole heels and a matching evening cape.
Bella, 19, emerged in a tight-fitted, tiered frock with heavy pearl embellishments, floral appliqués and the chicest fanny pack we've ever seen.
Gigi, who kicked off her first Paris Couture Week walking in Atelier Versace earlier this week, made her first Chanel appearance during the spring 2015 ready-to-wear show, whereas Bella has walked in the French label's Métiers d'Art show in Rome in December.
The feminine collection, which saw models end in a three-tier dollhouse (rather than supermarkets and casinos of years past), was accompanied by bold, dramatic and exaggerated makeup. From graphic double winged eyeliner that hit just below the eye and on the eyelid to nude lips, blushed cheeks and Princess Leia-esque hair 'dos (a.k.a. "Chanel croissants"), Karl's girls looked like living dolls coming down the runway in thanks to makeup artist Tom Pecheux.
Besides the sisters, Kendall Jenner, Edie Campbell, Mariacarla Boscono, Soo Joo Park, Ming Xi and Lindsey Wixson also took the catwalk in an array of navy blue, champagne, black and earthy-toned pieces constructed with organic and recycled materials.
